Good Sound Quality, Not Very Reliable, This adapter has excellent sound quality, with very little blur. However, if you had problems with the recorder cards refused in the past, I would not recommend this product. The magnetic strip is narrow, which may decrease the volume or sound quality. Some cards boxes (especially elders) of the narrow band may not properly align with the disk in the drive belt, and the adapter will be released after a few seconds of game time
I love shopping on the Internet, like the boy next door, but the tape adapter is something that must be purchased from a retail establishment to make sure you get one that will work with the tape player.

Easy To Set Up, Simple Interface, And My New Favorite Toy., Very easy to reach and operation (assuming of course you have a system ready to plug in to 7.1). My only complaints are the lack of control on the screen, which is a little 'mitigated by a simple menu system to learn (think Xrossbar for PSP and PS3) and sealing plugs for the speakers, which I believe are built too close . Besides these two minor flaws, this system is a top notch receiver.

Good But Poorly Built, I bought this book at Amazon, 5 December 2009. At first I was very pleased. The sound quality is more than I thought it would. Has a lot of connections, including four HDMI inputs assignable. The video up-conversion worked very well. The separation channel HD audio formats was "loud and clear. I do not have the Auto Cal that I want to manually adjust the audio levels. Now for the bad part, I return the unit to 28 December 2009. The amplifier Power short circuit causes a strong feedback extreemly through all seven speakers and subwoofer. I did pull the receiver to stop it. Luckily I stopped before it damaged one of my speakers. I've always had luck with Sony in the past. I have a Sony Bravia 1080p TV that has had zero problems. I firmly believe that I am just a defective product. I'm waiting for the replacement and will hope this book. I would recommend to all looking for a moderately priced, with lots of power and connections with the receiver. The problem I had seems to be a happy coincidence, and Amazon was quickly help solve this problem.

As Advertised, A great product with a great build. I like that I can add the S-AIR technology. Highly recommended for those who can not wire a room with speakers.

Great Recieiver For The Movie Nut On A Budget, If you do not want an arm and a leg or a receiver is not high end then this device will work well for you to spend. I have had much luck with Sony products over the years and this seems to be right on the line with the rest. The sound is incredible when paired with a Blu Ray, who spits DTS-HD Master and Dolby True HD. Very crisp and clear. The remote is easy to use and calibrate the speakers is a blessing. Best Buy has this device for $ 399.99, but I have on Amazon for $ 285 (plus tax and no shipping!). I hope others check out earlier than Amazon, Best Buy pulls the wool over the eyes, as he told me that for many years.
